SP&LH has two nationally renowned brands: Homeseeker Park & Leisure Homes . . . and Advent Leisure Homes . . .
Homeseeker's show village will comprise nine fully furnished park homes, an example from each of its ranges. Around £1 million has been invested to create the UK'?s largest display of park homes in a real life setting. It will replace the popular park home show village at Homeseeker's former headquarters at Irthlingborough. Park homes are built to full residential standards and are usually sited on privately owned and managed parks. They are often enjoyed as permanent homes by people at or approaching retirement.
Advent's show village, to complement its already successful lodge village at York, will comprise six luxurious and fully furnished leisure lodges. This village is the result of £0.75 million investment. The lodge lifestyle works very well for many groups of people including those who want a holiday or second home and for those seeking a UK base when relocating abroad.
Visitors to both villages will be offered comprehensive on site facilities including seminar rooms for parks and their customers, private offices for meetings and a comfortable lounge area with refreshment zone, kitchen and bathroom facilities. After the launch weekend both villages will be open 10am to 4pm seven days a week.
One of the most successful innovations at the York leisure lodge show village is the Park Selector service, which is now also available at Rushden. It is an interactive computer-based service with powerful search functions enabling customers to find a residential or holiday park anywhere in the UK that meets their individual criteria.
"We are delighted with the new show villages and hope visitors will enjoy viewing the leisure lodges and park homes on display seven days a week," commented Bill Clarke, Managing Director of SP&LH. "Our two villages on one site show park homes and leisure lodges fully furnished and stylishly dressed in real life settings with the benefit of natural light inside and out and can be experienced just as they would be on a real park. We are confident members of the public, park operators and their customers will enjoy visiting our Northamptonshire villages. We have built outstanding customer facilities so visitors can discuss their specific needs with our knowledgeable staff in a comfortable environment."
During the opening weekend, SP&LH expects around 30 residential and holiday parks to attend from all over the UK to show visitors the complete and flexible lifestyles offered by park homes and leisure lodges - meeting many people's needs at different stages of their lives.
The show villages at Rushden are fully accessible and there is ample free parking.
